Project Overview

HM Precision Engineering was engaged by GCI Solutions to carry out condition assessments of two sewer pump station wet wells within the City of Gold Coast to support the detailed design of new access hatch installations.

The project included shutdown of the Pump Station for on-site inspections, completing Schmidt hammer testing within the wet wells, survey of the existing structures, and detailed visual assessments. These investigations informed the structural design of new access hatch design including the valve pit converter slab.
